ORMOND BEACH, FL, February 3, 2018  The 4th Annual Granada Grand Festival of the Arts  was held at City Hall Ormond Beach and presented by Ormond Beach Mainstreet Arts District, Ormond Mainstreet and S.R. Perrott, Inc.

The spotlight of the event was a community art project hosted by Masterpiece Mixers Ormond Beach. Artist, Joseph Huynh Janicek created a chalk sketching inspired by Brazilian artist, Romero Britto. The 7ft. installation was sketched out and painted by members of the community both young and old with chalk paint in an array of colors. The final project was captured by video throughout the day by P.S. Marketing Maven.

The moment coordinators Julia Trulio and Becky Parker of Ormond Mainstreet told us about the community art project we were all about it. As creatives and art enthusiasts we saw the opportunity in bringing people together and connecting everyone through art. The idea to create art, to capture the process and the final exhibit of the collaboration would be best showcased through video. It is important for us to give back to a community we love so it was a no brainer for us. We hit the trifecta! Art! Community! Passion!
